If your dog (or cat) suffers from bad breath (also known as halitosis) there may be a problem with his/her oral health. Unlike other methods of dental plaque control, Restomyl® Dentalcroc acts through the systemic route. It contains a particular brown seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum) whose use is patented and whose benefits have been specifically demonstrated in companion animals.*
The brown seaweed is absorbed after the oral administration, reaches the salivary glands through the bloodstream and accumulates in the saliva, where it prevents the growth of bacterial plaque on dental surfaces thus limiting the calculus deposit. The first sign of oral health improvement is the disappearance of bad breath. Restomyl® Dentalcroc is free from any ingredient that cover-up the bad breath.
Seaweed, including A.N ProDen®, is high in organic iodine, therefore not recommended in hyperthyroid animals.
