Properties
PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) is a naturally-occurring substance found in many animal and vegetable food sources (e.g., soybean). In animals, it helps to maintain the physiological balance of several organs and body tissues (e.g., the kidney). Nefrys® restores the endogenous reserves of PEA through a highly absorbable form (i.e., ultra-micronised, PEA-um).
Chitosan and calcium carbonate help to maintain the intestinal physiological levels of phosphate and products of protein digestion (e.g., nitrogenous waste). It contains a source of silymarin.
